What this is
BarberShopAtlas is a free directory of barber shops in the United States, organised by state and city. Every listing has an address; most have a phone number, and where a business publishes its hours or services we show those too. Listings come from open data and from the businesses themselves, who can correct their card at any time — about the directory. Nothing on the lists is paid placement.
Pick a state above, or use the “near me” button to jump to the barber shops closest to you. City pages show the full list with a map; state pages collect smaller towns that have a single barber shop.

Common questions
What is the difference between a barber and a hairstylist?
Barbers are trained and licensed for short cuts, clipper work, fades and straight-razor shaving; cosmetologists and stylists are trained more for longer hair, color and styling. Many shops have both.
How much should I tip a barber?
In the United States many people tip 15–20% of the price of the cut, often in cash.
Do barber shops take walk-ins?
Many do, some work by appointment only, and some take both. Shops marked “Walk-ins welcome” or “By appointment” here say so on their own website.
How often should I get a haircut?
Short cuts and fades usually need a cleanup every two to three weeks; longer styles every four to eight weeks.
